Mountain of Hell 2017 Results
18th edition of this epic mountain bike race
At 06:30 yesterday morning, 700 mountain bikers gathered for the 2017 edition of the Mountain of Hell, Les 2 Alpes' biggest event of the summer.
The event is a mass start mountain bike race, 25km long, from the top of the glacier in Les Deux Alpes at 3400m altitude, all the way down to Venosc village.
The race starts on around 5 kilometres of snow, so it's not your average kind of bike race...
As you'll see from the video below by Fabien Cousinié (Team UR) the visibility on the glacier was pretty poor, making for an interesting start to this year's race.
