Fire in Les 2 Alpes Centre
Serious damage caused but no casualties involved
A fire broke out this afternoon causing serious damage to a building in the center of Les Deux Alpes.
The fire started in an apartment on the fifth floor of Les Cimes building and spread to at least three other apartments in the block, all of which are believed to be severely damaged or completely destroyed.
Firefighters and police are currently at the scene and at least twenty people will have to be relocated.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and thankfully there are no casualties.
