Spacious pads sleeping up to 10 people and more can be found in the centre, as well as in Le Village 1800. When travelling with kids, being close to the ski schools' meeting points and nursery slopes while also far from the hustle and bustle of the resort's centre is usually what makes an apartment's location just perfect.
Where can you find family-friendly apartments in Les 2 Alpes?
In Les Deux Alpes try searching for accommodation by the Alpette lift area, where you'll be close to a children's learn-to-ski zone and the indoor swimming pool, or to the nursery slopes by the Bosquet and Vikings lift. Les 2 Alpes Village 1800 is also a great option, even if it has fewer facilities than the main resort, as it offers a quieter skiing holiday. The main advantage of staying up here is quick and easy access to and from the ski area via the Village chair, on-site ticket sales, ski schools and lots of free covered parking under the apartment blocks. First impressions are a bit concrete jungle but, once you get to your apartment, you'll usually find great mountain views as the whole complex is halfway up the hill.

There are cheap apartments all around resort but the best bargains are often located outside the main 2 Alpes town, away from the local restaurants, bars and activities. You're more likely to find great bargains in the Village 1800 and the Petit Plan area.

Where can you find ski-in/ski-out apartments in Les 2 Alpes?
There are a few modern apartment residences in the centre of Les Deux Alpes offering ski-in/ski-out accommodation. However, being able to ski to the door depends on there being enough snow cover low down in the valley, which may not always be the case early or late in the season. This isn't a problem, though – in the absence of low snow, there are regular shuttle services connecting the resort and the lifts, and the views from these apartments at the foot of the mountains are usually fabulous!
